IEEE Digital Library - Provides full-text Internet access to 20 IEEE Computer Society periodicals from 1988 to present plus more than 875 conference proceedings backfile to 1995. Web of Science - Journal literature of the sciences. Provides citations, 70% of which include abstracts; also includes the articles' cited reference list. ScienceDirect - Indexing and full text to over 1,100 journals in 16 fields of science including chemistry, materials science, economics, business & management science, physics, social and behavioural sciences, clinical medicine and more. Wiley Interscience - Full text, online access to journals published by Wiley. Content also includes the following reference books Encyclopedia of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Ullman's Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry. Backfiles for individual journals vary from 2 to 4 years. Applied Science & Technology Abstracts - Abstracts for 350+ key, international English-language periodicals in chemistry, computer technology, data processing, energy, engineering, mathematics, and physics. Includes abstracts for interviews, meetings, conferencesand citations for book reviews. Academic Search Premier - Contains indexing for 8,175 publications, with full text for more than 4,700 of those titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles. Look in:HAYSTAC online catalog for call number and dates - NOTE: The journals and newspapers themselves are shelved upstairs in the Periodicals section. Periodical Locator is a comprehensive list of periodicals, journals, magazines, and newspapers accessible via the Internet and/or available in the CSU Hayward Library. If we don't own the journal, and there is time (allow 1-2 weeks for delivery), use the Interlibrary Loan service (see the information on the ILLiad service).
