COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to introduce you to the organization, finding, and evaluation of information from print, electronic, and other non-print sources. You will learn 1) the concepts of the research process; 2) how information is organized; 3) the effective use of library catalogs, periodical indexes and databases, traditional reference resources, and the Internet; and 4) to think critically when developing research strategies and evaluating information resources.
