PubMedInstructions for usePubmed Configuration Demo (PowerPoint File) PubMed is the public version of Medline and is a product for the United States National Institutes for Health. Once in PubMed, Sign In with your user name and password and begin searching or, if you have never registered, click on Register to establish a user name and password (see upper right corner of screen) and follow the instructions below: * After you have registered, click on MyNCBI (upper right corner). * Click on the Outside Tool link (see left side navigation bar, under MyNCBI Resources). * Scroll down to and choose California State University, East Bay, by clicking in the radial button. This will enable you to determine if online full text is available to a cited article via CSU East Bay's SFX server. *To begin searching PubMed, click on PubMed in the top black navigation bar on the screen. NOTE: Be sure to sign out once you have completed searching PubMed. Also, be sure to log into your MyNCBI account when you search PubMed in the future in order to be able to find out if CSU East Bay has access to the articles you are finding. |
